I am excited to announce that <Ruination> has decided to re-brand our guild to <Dying Breed>. It's been almost three years of Ruination goodness, but everything comes to an end eventually.

<Dying Breed> is a 25-man raiding guild that is focused on completing PvE content while still maintaining a strong base of players that cannot make the schedules of a hard core raiding guild. Stay tuned in for updates on <Dying Breed>

<Ruination>'s website and forum will continue to operate until February in order to ensure smooth transitions and re-direction to the new <Dying Breed> Website.

10/25 Recruitment Update

Here is a quick recruitment update. We are looking for the following classes/specs.

Tanks
1 Druid or 1 Paladin Tank

Healers
-1 Resto Druid (With Balance dual-spec)
-1 Holy Paladin

DPS
-1 Hunter
-1 Balance Druid (with Resto dual-spec)
-1 Warlock (Destruction)

We raid Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7pm-11pm.

I would also like to remind any potential applicants, that if you're not willing to spend the time needed to fill out your application so we can get a good gauge on your experience and background, I will not waste my time reviewing your app/experience.

2/5 Heroic ToC-10 & A Recruitment Update

Warlock recruitment is now closed until we finish reviewing our current apps. We are still open for everything else with a focus on the following:

-Shaman (Any spec)
-Holy Paladin
-Shadow Priest

Tonight's 10-man did an excellent job down the first 2 bosses of Heroic ToC-10, not only that, but we did it with ZERO SHAMAN! I'd also like to stroke our meats a little bit by saying most of us are still in 10-man Ulduar and ToC gear. The fights aren't hard themselves, but when you're chasing soft enrage timers due to lack of gear, it kinda sucks...

Ruination is still looking for several good players that are looking to progress through 25-man content. We are recruiting on pretty much all classes, but we have high priorities on recruiting the following classes:

-Shaman (Any spec)
-Holy Paladin
-Affliction Warlock
-Shadow Priest

We did change our raiding schedule to the following:

Monday 7pm-11pm: Heroic ToC-10
Wednesday 7pm-11pm: Normal ToC-10 & Onyxia-10
Thursday 7pm-11pm: Normal ToC-25 & Onyxia-25

Our ultimate goal is to run only 25-man raids on our Monday/Wednesday/Thursday raid days with 10-mans going on during our free time.

Completion and progression through Icecrown's 25-man raid is a huge priority for us. Please fill out an application if you are interested.

oh, and Yogg-Saron too.

Nice to watch all that achievement spam after all those wipes, but it doesn't compare to watching our hunter app grab his achievement for his first badge of conquest. Grats Sorrowreach!

Thanks to all the guild members for the hard work they have all done in getting through Ulduar and getting this kill. None of this would have been possible without all our members, hardcore or casual.

... and Ruination managed to win.

It was really nice listening to Layotees perk up halfway through the attempt when we realized it was half-decent, not to mention EVEN Finalbloom stopped telling people to EMD and began encouraging everyone. Excellent job by everyone, way to pull it off. Our second or third night of real attempts, a good [full] group made it much easier.

Grats Evilmonkeyy on your drake, thank you for rolling higher then Darckren.
