It's been a long journey for all of us here at Ruination. We went from being the underdogs of the server to being on top of the Horde Raiding ranks. Remember the days of people saying "Where the shit did these guys come from?!" Most of us in the guild are long time members, and we pride ourselves in being able to keep it together without a large amount of turn over.

We have 34 Raiding Members
13 of us were in the guild within its first month and still raid.

There are many people to thank for Ruination's success, and I'm not going to name them all. If you ever been a part of a Ruination boss kill, purchased a T5 run from us, visited our website, bumped a recruitment thread, bought any of our craftables we have an abundance of, or even stated our name to anyone asking "who the current top raiding horde guild is on Doomhammer" is, you have helped us and for that everyone here thanks you.

Burning Crusade is coming to a close, and many are wondering what our plans are for Wrath of the Lich King. Will we stay together? Are we recruiting? Who are our Death Knights? Will we be more competitive and try to keep up with guilds like Drow?

The answer is simple.

Ruination will be Ruination. We strive for excellence and play this game to have fun. We don't treat this game like a job. These were our founding principles of Ruination and these still hold true to this day. If we're #1, we're #1. The real victory is that we had fun doing it and were still able to enjoy a lifestyle out of World of Warcraft.
